Part-Time - 2 - 3 days (Full Time Equivalent $100k base + super)

Please note this role is part time, looking at 2-3 days / week based on who we can find.


Location: On-Site - Chatswood

Reporting to: VP of Infrastructure and Security



Responsibilities

1. Security Compliance Implementation

  • Implement, and maintain policies and procedures aligned with ISO27001, GDPR, and PCI-DSS standards.
  • Conduct periodic audits and ensure compliance with regulatory and security frameworks.
  • Provide recommendations and solutions to address identified compliance gaps.


Desirable responsibilities

1. Server Management

  • Manage and administer Windows Server and Linux systems.
  • Perform routine updates, patching, backups, and system configuration hardening.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve server issues efficiently to ensure minimal downtime.


2. Cloud Administration

  • Oversee AWS cloud services, including managing IAM policies, EC2 instances, and S3 buckets.
  • Support deployment and monitoring of resources on AWS when required.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and cost efficiency.


3. Infrastructure Security

  • Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and apply appropriate security patches or mitigations.
  • Implement security best practices across infrastructure, including access controls, encryption, and logging.
  • Respond to security incidents and assist with remediation efforts.


4. User Support and Administration

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues and provide end-user support for all staff.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across systems and applications.
  • Assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Maintain a knowledge base for common technical issues and their resolutions to improve helpdesk efficiency.



Requirements

Mandatory skills:

  1. Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining ISO27001, GDPR, and PCI-DSS or other cybersecurity related policies and procedures.


Desired Skills:

  1. Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch).
  2. Experience with automation tools or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
  3. Understanding of networking fundamentals and firewall management.
  4. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (AWS preferred).
  5. Proficiency in Windows Server and/or Linux administration, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
