Part-Time - 2 - 3 days (Full Time Equivalent $100k base + super)
Please note this role is part time, looking at 2-3 days / week based on who we can find.
Location: On-Site - Chatswood
Reporting to: VP of Infrastructure and Security
Responsibilities
1. Security Compliance Implementation
- Implement, and maintain policies and procedures aligned with ISO27001, GDPR, and PCI-DSS standards.
- Conduct periodic audits and ensure compliance with regulatory and security frameworks.
- Provide recommendations and solutions to address identified compliance gaps.
Desirable responsibilities
1. Server Management
- Manage and administer Windows Server and Linux systems.
- Perform routine updates, patching, backups, and system configuration hardening.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server issues efficiently to ensure minimal downtime.
2. Cloud Administration
- Oversee AWS cloud services, including managing IAM policies, EC2 instances, and S3 buckets.
- Support deployment and monitoring of resources on AWS when required.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and cost efficiency.
3. Infrastructure Security
- Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and apply appropriate security patches or mitigations.
- Implement security best practices across infrastructure, including access controls, encryption, and logging.
- Respond to security incidents and assist with remediation efforts.
4. User Support and Administration
- Act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues and provide end-user support for all staff.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across systems and applications.
- Assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Maintain a knowledge base for common technical issues and their resolutions to improve helpdesk efficiency.
Requirements
Mandatory skills:
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining ISO27001, GDPR, and PCI-DSS or other cybersecurity related policies and procedures.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch).
- Experience with automation tools or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and firewall management.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (AWS preferred).
- Proficiency in Windows Server and/or Linux administration, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
