Job Summary

Moris Media is seeking a talented and passionate Web Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive web designs that effectively communicate our clients' brand identities and meet their business goals. You will work closely with marketing, content, and development teams to deliver seamless and engaging digital experiences across multiple platforms.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Design and develop innovative website layouts, graphics, and user interfaces that align with client branding and industry best practices.
2. Create responsive and visually engaging web pages, landing pages, and email templates optimized for various devices and platforms.
3. Produce wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to present design concepts effectively.
4. Collaborate with content creators and developers to integrate text, images, and multimedia elements seamlessly into designs.
5. Optimize web designs for usability, accessibility, and SEO to enhance performance and engagement.
6. Stay updated with current web design trends, tools, and emerging technologies to ensure innovative solutions.
7. Ensure consistency in website design across different browsers and devices through rigorous testing and quality assurance.

Primary Skills

1. Expertise in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or Figma.
2. Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with a focus on responsive design principles.
3. Exceptional visual design skills, including typography, color theory, and layout design.
4. Familiarity with UX/UI principles to deliver intuitive and user-centered designs.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience as a Web Designer, with a portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field (preferred).
3. Open to travel as required for client meetings or on-site project needs.
