We are looking for a Security Consultant to enhance our client's security posture by reviewing controls, monitoring threats, and responding to incidents. You will collaborate with teams to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and stay ahead of cybersecurity trends.
Responsibilities
- Review and enhance security controls.
- Develop security documentation (e.g., design documents, test plans).
- Monitor security alerts (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls) and respond to incidents.
- Analyze incidents to determine root cause and severity.
- Collaborate with 3rd parties for forensic investigations.
- Work with IT to implement security measures and mitigate risks.
- Maintain and update security documentation (e.g., incident reports, playbooks).
- Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and deliver reports to clients.
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written English skills.
- 2-5 years of experience in security domains (e.g., Risk Management, Network Security, IAM).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred.
- Knowledge of virtualization and hybrid cloud environments.
- Understanding of cloud/system security and software development is a plus.
- Proactive, analytical, and able to work independently or in a team.
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Security or related field.
This is an initial 12-months contract role.
