Security Analyst

Hawksman Technology is currently working with a global trading firm who are looking to hire a Security Analyst for their Singapore business.

Role - Security Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Administer SIEM for event correlation and threat detection.
• Assist with insider threat investigations.
• Assess security risks in new projects.
• Automate detection, response, and configuration using scripting.
• Create and update threat detection rules.
• Educate users on security best practices.
• Evaluate commercial and open-source security tools.
• Improve security posture through collaboration.
• Maintain internal documentation of processes.
• Manage SOAR playbooks, dashboards, and automation.
• Route internal support tickets for the Security team.
• Stay updated through conferences, seminars, and training.
• Triage global security alerts and respond to incidents.

Requirements:

• 1-4 years experience
• Knowledge of Incident Response Cycle, static & dynamic malware analysis, and core networking & cloud security concepts.
• Experience with SIEM and SOAR products, as well as data analysis from security sources (IPS, Web Security, etc.).
• Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ruby, or Perl, and experience with GitHub.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and excellent time management and communication abilities.
