Hawksman Technology is partnering with a pioneering DLT-powered financial market infrastructure organisation who is driving innovation in financial instrument origination, trading, and servicing by leveraging blockchain technologies across credit, funds, and structured products.
Role: Head of Commercial (Digital Assets)
Hawksman Technology is seeking a seasoned commercial leader to spearhead the go-to-market and revenue strategy for our clients Gateway platform. This role is instrumental in delivering a truly marketwide digital Financial Market Infrastructure (FMI) from Asia, with a focus on scaling partnerships, institutional adoption, and monetization across asset classes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the commercial strategy for the digital asset business
- Identify and pursue revenue-generating opportunities across funds, credit, structured products, and real-world assets (RWA), including cross-selling initiatives within existing client accounts.
- Own the commercial P&L for the digital assets unit, including forecasting, pipeline development, and resource planning.
- Build and deepen strategic partnerships with financial institutions—banks, asset managers, and FMIs—to accelerate market adoption.
- Work closely with product, strategy, and technology teams to align client needs with platform capabilities and enhancements.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing commercial team with expertise across business development, partnerships, and client success.
- Represent the digital assets business in executive and board-level meetings, articulating commercial performance and strategic priorities.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for institutional clients, ensuring long-term relationships and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of commercial or product leadership experience within fintech/platform businesses, banks, asset managers, or financial intermediaries.
- Deep knowledge of digital assets and blockchain infrastructure in production settings (e.g., smart contracts, ledger technology).
- Proven track record of building and managing commercially successful teams in emerging or fast-evolving markets.
- Strong understanding of financial products, particularly in one or more of: fixed income, structured products, or funds.
- Demonstrated success in managing senior institutional relationships and closing complex commercial deals.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to communicate effectively with technical, product, and executive stakeholders.
