More Information About The Future Role
In your future role, your responsibilities will include, depending on your skills and preferences
You won't be working alone. You will collaborate closely with other teams in this field and engage with the strong data and AI community within OP.
This full-time opportunity is available in either Helsinki or Oulu, based on your preference. Like the rest of OP Financial Group, we offer a flexible working environment that combines office days with remote work. Internally you would be employed under a Data Scientist title according to our agile methodology hierarchy.
What do we wish from you?
We are seeking a candidate with substantial experience in the data domain, having worked in roles such as Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer. You should possess a solid understanding of what it takes to create AI products. Experience with Azure or large language models (LLMs) is a plus as well as in general a deep grasp of deep learning.
We also value experience in running ML/AI models in production, as well as familiarity with MLOps/DevOps practices. An analytical and problem-solving mindset is highly appreciated.
We understand that you might not have experience in all these areas yet. What truly matters is your motivation and willingness to learn and grow. In our team, we value initiative, strong teamwork skills, and a positive attitude. We also hope you can communicate clearly and effectively in English and/or Finnish.

- Implementing and maintaining an agentic AI framework, including the creation of necessary tools and guidelines.
- Working with an agile team to implement key AI use cases into production in collaboration with business segments.
