R&D Manager

We are seeking a talented and experienced R&D and ESG Manager to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will lead R&D projects, driving innovation while ensuring the integration of ESG principles into all company aspects.

What You’ll Be Driving:

• Planning and coordinating National and International R&D grant programs (TÜBİTAK TEYDEB, Horizon 2020) and funding strategies
• Follow-up of new project applications within the scope of R&D and innovation, preparation, and project documents
• Writing project proposals for R&D and innovation support programs preparing technical and financial reports, making presentations to referees
• Supporting project technical leaders during the preparation of technical reports
• Building domestic and international partnerships with academia and/or industry around R&D projects and supporting R&D with patents, articles, university collaborations
• Developing the in-house R&D culture
• Creating and tracking monthly man-month project efforts distributions
• Collaborating with internal teams, including product management, operations, and marketing, to align R&D activities with business strategies.
• Ensuring that R&D activities support the long-term vision and growth of the company.
• Leading the creation and execution of the company’s ESG strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term sustainability objectives.
• Identifying key ESG risks and opportunities and developing actionable plans to address them.
• Setting measurable ESG goals and tracking progress to ensure continuous improvement.
• Preparing and delivering regular ESG reports, including key metrics, performance analysis, and progress toward goals.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 7+ years of experience in the related area
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in the engineering field.
• Expertise in 5746 R&D center incentives
• Preferably an understanding of ESG frameworks and standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP)
• Experience in project management
• Preferably experience in the software industry.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, out-of-the-box thinking.
• Self-motivated and self-driven
• Fluency in English.
