Java Developer (f/m/d)

For our European Headquarters in Offenbach (Frankfurt am Main) we are looking for a:

JAVA Developer (f/m/d)

The Java Developer (f/m/d) position belongs to Web/Cloud Digital Transformation Section and the main responsibilities includes supporting project operations, maintaining the environment and overseeing application deployment activities throughout development and operations cycles. As a Java developer, you will play a vital role in enhancing system performance and streamlining operational efficiency. Your involvement in Agile software development is crucial to effectively contribute as a key member of the project team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing, designing, configuring, and implementing interface applications and web applications
• Monitoring of the Java system performance / recourses / User accounts / Oracle or Open source Database
• Troubleshooting and resolving functional issues in Webserver/WAS/Database
• Smooth communication with the customer and the development team

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Information Technology Degree or comparable qualification
• 2 - 5 years in full stack development with a focus on system performance and operational efficiency
• Strong Knowledge of Java
• Good Knowledge of frontend frameworks and libraries (REACT or Angular or VUE)
• Good Knowledge of Javascript or Typescript and libraries (Jquerie or Bootstrap)
• Good knowledge of XML (XSD, XSLT, Xpath, JSON)
• Good knowledge of Oracle SQL, MONGO DB
• Good knowledge of client/server and internet systems architectures and webservices
• Good knowledge of REST API, SOAP API
• Ability to analyze data and extract important information
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Very good English skills + another European language would be considered as a plus (German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Czech)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Github, Docker, Jenkins
• Knowledge of SAP Enterprise Portal knowledge
