Cyber Security Engineer

Job Title: Senior Cyber Security Role

Location: Luxembourg (onsite)

Contract Type: 6 months + Extensions

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Cyber Security Consultant to join our client that is in the public industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Defining, implementing and managing ICT and Information policies, standard, procedures and guidelines.
• ICT Security capability building through roadmaps, action plans, maturity models.
• Risk assessment methods and standards (e.g. ISO 27005, EBIOS).
• Design and implementation of protection measures:
• Network concepts and the associated security architectures and components. In particular: Internet/Intranet/Extranet architectures, authentication systems, Firewall, Proxies, Network IDS/IPS, PKI, e-mail security, Remote access control and violations;
• Identity and Access management;
• Application security, in particular: (web) application firewalls, secure coding practices;
• Data protection and integrity: encryption, data loss prevention mechanisms;
• PKI architectures and digital signature expertise

Qualifications:

• 5 years’ experience related to ICT security management (e.g. cybersecurity assessments, ISMS implementation, policy management, development of security policies and standards,).
• Excellent organisational skills, thorough comprehension of complex organisational issues and ability to identify appropriate solutions.
• Ability to generate reports and written analysis on complex and multi-domain security topics, both at high and technical levels and be committed to excellence and quality service delivery.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to lead multi-lingual meetings and to do presentations to the top managers, technical staff and also end-users in the context of knowledge transfer activities.
