Position Overview

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s IT infrastructure, software solutions, and web development needs. This role ensures the seamless operation of IT systems, manages website development and maintenance, and leads the IT team in delivering efficient technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT systems, website development, team leadership, and experience with platforms like Zoho.

Key Responsibilities

IT Systems Management

Oversee the organization’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and cloud services.

Ensure the security, integrity, and efficient performance of all IT systems.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Manage software licenses, updates, and patches to ensure compliance and optimal performance.

Website Development and Maintenance

Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of the company’s websites and web applications.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure web platforms meet business needs and user expectations.

Ensure websites are secure, responsive, and optimized for performance and SEO.

Manage integrations between websites and other business systems (e.g., CRM, ERP).

Must have solid experience in PHP development with a strong focus on WordPress and familiarity with other frameworks

Team Leadership

Provide strategic leadership to the IT team by fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Take full accountability for the effective management, performance, and security of company websites, IT infrastructure, and associated systems, including networking, asset management, hardware, software, and compliance with organizational standards and industry best practices.

Assign tasks, oversee project timelines, and ensure the successful delivery of IT projects.

Conduct performance evaluations and identify development opportunities for team members.

Zoho Platform Management

Oversee the implementation, customization, and optimization of Zoho applications (e.g., Zoho CRM, Zoho Desk).

Provide support and training to staff on Zoho tools and troubleshoot issues as needed.

Identify opportunities to improve business processes using Zoho’s suite of applications.

IT Strategy and Planning

Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

Collaborate with leadership to plan and execute IT projects aligned with business goals.

Research and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency, security, and scalability.

Security and Compliance

Ensure IT systems and websites comply with data protection regulations and security standards.

Implement and manage security protocols, backups, and disaster recovery plans.

Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

5+ years of experience in IT systems management and web development.

Proven experience leading an IT team and managing multiple projects.

Hands-on experience with Zoho one applications.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in IT infrastructure management (hardware, software, networks).

Experience with web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms).

Knowledge of security protocols, data protection regulations, and compliance standards.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar).
