Residence Requirement: Must be located in Dubai

Key Requirements

  • Proficient in data science tools and programming languages including Python, R, SQL, and frameworks like TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, or equivalents.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methodologies, predictive analytics, and machine learning techniques, particularly in relation to healthcare.
  • Competent in handling structured and unstructured healthcare datasets, such as EHR (Electronic Health Records), claims records, medical imaging, and patient outcome analytics.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey technical insights to a diverse range of audiences.
  • Familiar with data visualization platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or comparable tools.
  • Awareness of healthcare-specific databases and tools (for example, Epic, Cerner, or analogous systems) is a valued asset.

Role Summary

We are looking for a talented Data Scientist specializing in healthcare analytics to join our team. You will apply advanced data scientific techniques, statistical evaluations, and machine learning methodologies to address intricate challenges in the healthcare sector. The right candidate will possess a solid foundation in data science bolstered by practical experience in healthcare projects, aimed at producing insightful analysis and facilitating data-informed decision-making processes within a healthcare framework.

Educational Background

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or a related discipline is necessary.
  • A Master’s degree in a suitable field is preferable.
  • Certifications in data science, machine learning, or AI (such as TensorFlow Developer Certificate, IBM Data Science Certification) are highly valued.

Professional Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, with hands-on experience in creating predictive models and deploying machine learning applications.
  • Documented experience tackling healthcare data challenges or focusing on healthcare-related analytical requirements, covering areas like patient analytics, clinical decision-making support, healthcare management, or population health analysis.
  • Proven skills in advanced data analysis, visualization techniques, and AI-integrated decision support tools, with the capability to simplify and communicate complex results to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of healthcare compliance standards, such as HIPAA, is advantageous.

Required Skills

  • Solid command over data science tools and programming languages, specifically Python, R, SQL, and software such as TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, or equivalents.
  • Deep knowledge of statistical practices, predictive analytics, and machine learning in the healthcare arena.
  • Capability to analyze structured and unstructured data types in the health sector, including EHRs, claims, imaging, and outcomes data.
