As part of their 2025 recruitment drive, we’re looking for a talented DevSecOps Engineer (Application Security Engineer) to play a pivotal role in shaping their security strategy, enhancing architecture, and safeguarding cutting-edge solutions.


Role Overview:


As a DevSecOps Engineer, you'll work closely with the Head of Security within a small, dynamic team, putting security at the heart of the organisation's operations. This is a rare opportunity to lead the security roadmap, influence best practices, and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in tech.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Drive Cybersecurity Maturity: Lead the creation and implementation of a strategic security roadmap that accelerates security progress.
  • DevSecOps Integration: Seamlessly integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines, development workflows, and the software lifecycle.
  • Enhance Security Posture: Optimise configurations to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and maintain high security standards.
  • Collaborative Security: Partner with development teams to identify and address vulnerabilities, ensuring robust, secure applications.
  • Champion Secure Coding: Promote security best practices, guiding teams in adopting secure development principles and creating clear security policies.
  • Stay Ahead: Keep up with industry trends, emerging tools, and potential vulnerabilities to continually enhance security measures.


What You’ll Bring:


You are a proactive, results-driven professional with a passion for embedding security in tech solutions. With a strong technical background and a flair for collaboration, you’ll thrive in a fast-moving environment and relish the opportunity to make a significant impact.


Experience & Skills Required:


  • 3+ years of experience in Cyber Security / Security Engineering.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC processes with experience in SAST/DAST tools.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud technologies.
  • Proficiency in C# or .NET, or similar programming languages.
  • Strong knowledge of security standards (e.g., NIST, PCI, ISO).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
