Lead C++ Developer

We are seeking motivated and dynamic individuals to lead our client’ team of C++ developers. As a Lead C++ Developer, you will be instrumental in developing solutions across a variety of technologies, including embedded devices for point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of C++ developers focused on embedded devices for POS systems.
• Oversee the development of EMV applications to obtain Visa and MasterCard certifications.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and uphold best coding practices within the team.
• Develop software in C and C++, utilizing the QT framework, for both embedded devices and PC applications.
• Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and technological advancements.
• Prepare technical documentation, including architecture and design documents.
• Ensure continuous maintenance and update of software and documentation, addressing any bugs or new requirements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field, either completed or nearing completion.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in software development within a Linux environment using C and C++.
• At least 3 years of experience in leading software development teams.
• Experience with EMV application certification for Visa and MasterCard is highly desirable.
• Proficient in using the QT framework.
• Familiarity with SQL and database structures.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and methodologies like Agile.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Additional certifications relevant to software development and team management.
• Experience in the financial technology sector or similar industries.
