About the Role

We are seeking a skilled React Developer to join our team and contribute to our federal government client projects. This is a 100% remote opportunity, though candidates located in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, D.C. are preferred. Due to government contract requirements, U.S. citizenship is required. The ideal candidate will work closely with CIOs and stakeholders to develop software solutions that enhance operational efficiency, data transparency, and user experience. This role requires expertise in full-stack software development, cloud technologies, and modern application architectures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate advanced technologies to improve operations, reduce processing time, and enhance data transparency using cloud-based solutions and microservices.
• Utilize React UI or other modern UI frameworks (e.g., Angular) for front-end development.
• Implement Node.js for backend services.
• Work with AWS cloud tools such as Lambda, EventBridge, DynamoDB, Kinesis, API Gateway, and S3.
• Develop and maintain APIs to ensure seamless data integration and availability.
• Perform software development in an Agile and DevSecOps environment, utilizing tools such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, Ansible, and JUnit.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for relational databases like Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to design, test, and implement high-quality software solutions.
• Contribute to the adoption of best practices in Big Data, AI/ML, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, and IoT technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and at least six (6) years of professional experience in software development.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability Public Trust 6C (High Risk) clearance.
• Strong full-stack development experience with expertise in front-end, back-end, and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure automation for CI/CD pipelines across AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
• Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and deploy full-stack applications in an Agile and DevSecOps environment.
• Strong understanding of Cybersecurity best practices and secure software development principles.
• Experience in remote collaboration and agile teamwork.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with reporting tools, workbooks, and dashboards.
• Background in working with highly collaborative remote teams.
• Familiarity with cloud service provider offerings such as IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS.
