Site Reliability Engineer | SRE | AWS

Salary: €45K - €60K + Bonus + Equity

Location: Fully Remote - Portugal

Our client is at the forefront of digital transformation in the Financial Services sector, operating on a global scale, and winning some of the most prestiges awards in their industry. They are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join them to work across their production and development environments.

In this role, you will develop and maintain highly scalable and secure infrastructure solutions using cloud-native technology and IaC. Design, implement and maintain service level objectives and develop observability strategies focussing on meaningful metrics. Focussing on site reliability, scalability, resiliency and high availability. Responsible for driving automation to eliminate toil and the design and operation of Kubernetes environment. This roll will require on call rotations.

Required Experience

• 5+ years experience as an SRE or related role
• AWS (minimum 2 years)
• Kubernetes
• Databases (MongoDB, Postgres or DynamoDB)
• Scripting (Ruby, Python, Java or similar)
• Monitoring Tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Splunk, Datadog, NewRelic or ELK)
• Linux OS-Level
