Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in optimizing and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation frameworks. You will work closely with development and operations teams to enhance system reliability, streamline deployment processes, and ensure efficient software delivery. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to optimize change and release management.  
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for tasks such as server configuration, CI/CD workflows, and infrastructure provisioning.  
• Maintain and integrate tools for configuration management, build automation, continuous integration/deployment, monitoring, reporting, and alerting.  
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.  
• Support and optimize containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes (OpenShift experience is a plus).  
• Implement and operate monitoring and alerting tools to ensure system reliability and availability.  
• Support developers by troubleshooting deployment-related issues and improving CI/CD workflows.  
• Participate in capacity planning and risk assessments to prepare for growth and potential challenges.  
• Ensure high availability and performance of production systems by adopting best DevOps methodologies.  
• Work in Agile/SCRUM teams to build scalable environments that support development and production.  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security and compliance within DevOps practices.  

Qualifications:

• 5-6 years of hands-on DevOps Engineering experience.  
• 2+ years of prior experience in Software Engineering or System Administration.  
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services for deployment and cloud infrastructure management.  
• Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.  
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes, with experience managing production deployments.  
• Experience with OpenShift is an added advantage.  
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, optimizing pipelines, and improving build times.  
• Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux for automating deployments.  
• Strong Linux administration skills with Bash scripting expertise.  
• Solid knowledge of virtualization, networking (firewalls, DNS, load balancers), and distributed computing.  
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/Opensearch/Elasticsearch for system monitoring and logging.
