Technical Lead

Join their Core Platform team to develop next-generation System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions for Compute, Smartphones, IoT, Automotive, XR, and more. In this role, you will lead the development and prototyping of cutting-edge features across multiple device driver teams. You’ll be responsible for delivering critical embedded drivers and enabling key technologies across a diverse chipset portfolio.

This position offers a unique opportunity to take on technical leadership, collaborating across teams to design, implement, test, and document drivers for both internal and external use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of embedded drivers for SoCs across Mobile, Automotive, XR, and other domains.
• Drive architecture, design, and implementation of new features across multiple technology areas.
• Work cross-functionally with hardware, software, and architecture teams to integrate new SoC capabilities.
• Debug complex Linux Kernel and device driver issues, optimizing system performance.
• Contribute to technical documentation and best practices for driver development.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong background in SoC development or architecture, preferably in Compute or Mobile platforms.
• Deep expertise in Linux Kernel, device driver development, and embedded systems architecture.
• Proficiency in C and data structures, particularly for Linux kernel development.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills in the Linux Kernel.
• Familiarity with ARM CoreSight architecture is a plus.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across global teams.
• Experience with Python or Perl is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Assembly and C++ is a plus.

Preferred Areas of Expertise:

• ARM & RISC-V Architecture – Coherency, Signaling, Memory Management, Virtualization.
• Processors & Peripherals – DSPs, ARM CPUs, high/low-speed interfaces.
• Memory & Interconnect – DDR, System Cache, QOS, interconnect technologies.
• Power, Boot, Debug, Security, and Access Control Architectures.
