IT Security Engineer

At Greenwheels, we are looking for a talented IT Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position includes a broad range of responsibilities, making it perfect for someone who thrives in a multifaceted environment.

What will you be doing?

As our IT Security Engineer, you will be the guardian of our digital defenses, implementing and maintaining robust security measures to protect our systems. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting security audits, monitoring for potential threats, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR). You'll work closely with our partners to keep our IT environment secure and resilient. Additionally, you'll contribute to system administration tasks, including managing Greenwheels' IT infrastructure, cloud systems, and overseeing user accounts and access rights.

You will also be the go-to person for technical support, delivering top-notch service to our employees and customers. Your excellent communication skills and technical know-how will ensure that issues are resolved swiftly and efficiently, keeping our users happy and productive. And if big, complicated issues arise, you don’t have to handle them alone, our IT teams and the other departments will help you solve them.

And that’s not all. We would also like you to be mindful of Continuous Improvement: You'll identify areas for improvement in IT security and servicedesk processes, stay updated on the latest IT security trends and best practices.

This position demands a strong foundation in IT security, paired with outstanding service and communication abilities. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining a secure, efficient, and user-friendly IT environment at Greenwheels.

As Greenwheels we also have some wishes:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in IT security and/or service desk roles
• Familiarity with servicedesk best practices (ITIL), ticketing systems and remote support tools
