Position: Senior Frontend Developer (React)
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Type: Hybrid (2-3 days per week the client´s office)
Languages: Fluent in English + fluent in Dutch or French

Technical and Soft Skills:
We are looking for a talented Frontend Developer with strong skills in React and a basic understanding of .NET. In this role, you will focus primarily on building user-friendly, responsive web applications, ensuring seamless integration with backend services. You should be well-versed in modern frontend development, particularly with React, and have a working knowledge of .NET to collaborate effectively with backend developers. Our ideal candidate is passionate about creating high-performance, intuitive interfaces, and thrives in an Agile (Scrum) environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years experience in React and its ecosystem (e.g., Redux, Hooks).
- Basic experience with .NET to understand backend integration.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and working with backend services.
- Experience with build tools and version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress) and unit testing.
- Fluent in English and either Dutch or French.
- Candidates must be in European Union and have EU Passport / nationality
Nice to Have:
- Experience with design systems or component libraries.
- Familiarity with Docker for development environments.
- Basic understanding of backend architecture and APIs.
- Previous experience in public administration (is a plus).
