Software Test Engineer

You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify testing requirements, report defects, and verify fixes. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications
• Identify, document, and track defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues
• Conduct functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing to ensure software quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review requirements and technical specifications
• Maintain and enhance automated test frameworks to improve testing efficiency
• Participate in peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance testing strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Software Test Engineer or in a similar testing role
• Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
• Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
