IOps / DevOps Engineer

CLOUD DEVOPS LINUX NGINX ANSIBLE KUBERNETES JAVA AGILE

On behalf of our banking sector client, we are seeking an IOps / DevOps Engineer with expertise to effectively bridge the gap between development and operations.

You will be part of an Agile structure, with your role integrated within the APS domain business support linked to the tribe. Your purpose is to create efficient, reliable, and secure systems that support the continuous delivery of software.

Tasks:

• Work closely with developers to understand project needs and timelines, ensuring successful delivery.
• Set up and maintain servers, manage network components like VPNs and firewalls, oversee storage solutions, and ensure compliance with banking regulations.
• Design and maintain automated deployment pipelines using Jenkins, manage version control systems, implement rollback plans, and document deployment processes.
• Manage and orchestrate Docker containers using Kubernetes, including deploying applications, scaling services, maintaining cluster health, and overseeing software releases in different environments.
• Continuously monitor applications and infrastructure, resolve incidents, perform regular maintenance tasks, and optimize system performance.
• Develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks, use tools like Ansible for infrastructure automation, implement and manage API gateways, and set up monitoring tools and alerts.

Profile:

• Proven experience in managing and maintaining Linux environments, with a bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
• Proficiency with Nginx and Ansible automation.
• Experience with API Management tools, Helm charts, Jenkins, HVault, Kubernetes, Docker, and Nexus.
• Strong network knowledge, including VPN and NAT configurations.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
