Senior developer, DevOps Platforms

Are you looking for new challenges and experiences? How about new wonderful colleagues and ruling the world with them? We are now offering an excellent opportunity to join our crew, as we are looking for a senior developer, DevOps Platforms, to join our gaming systems development. The position is permanent and full-time.

We already have an established team of developers to serve our world class games to our international business to business (B2B) clients as Games as a Service (GaaS). Our games are already available in multiple countries, and we are expanding very rapidly. Our team is responsible for creating in-house tooling for configuration and deploy management for GaaS deployments. This growth and pull from the global market make this an interesting position to contribute and oversee the technical roadmap of our core assets.

Ideal Profile

• Previous senior developer experience
• Hands-on experience with modern web development. Technologies in use: GCP, NextJS, NestJS, OpenApi, Terraform, GitLab CICD. Golang and previous experience from designing a multi-tenant architecture is seen as a definite plus.
• As this is a senior role, you are expected to act as the go-to person for technical issues the team is facing. You are not to solve them all but help them to get on the right track.
• English as a working language is required and Finnish strongly preferred.
  
  

Do you want more challenges? The position can also be filled with the more demanding title of lead developer. For that previous experience as product owner (PO) role is needed.

Your workplace will be at Veikkaus' head office in Pohjois-Haaga, Helsinki. We are working in a hybrid work model, allowing us to have the best aspects of both working styles.
