Junior Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Junior SOC Analyst to join a growing cyber security team in the Energy sector. In this role, you will monitor, analyse, and respond to security incidents, playing a key part in maintaining security posture and safeguarding against cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security alerts and events from various sources using SIEM tools.
• Assist in the identification, investigation, and resolution of security incidents.
• Collaborate with senior analysts to improve incident response protocols.
• Maintain documentation related to security incidents and processes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and threat landscapes.

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Coming from IT Administrator, Help Desk experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Enthusiasm for learning and developing in the cybersecurity field.

This is a hybrid role, based in Warsaw and will be paying 8000 PLN/month.
