Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to assist our client in the construction of their cutting-edge Biopharma Plant in North-Rhine Westphalia, Germany.

The company focuses on maintaining an atmosphere that supports continuous improvement, so any suggestions will be welcome throughout the project.

The Development Director has asked us to put forward individuals with experience in managing complex commercial or pharmaceutical construction projects. The project is secured by CAPEX investment, and once completed it will manufacture some of the highest-quality medicines available throughout Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the project plans, schedules and budgets for the pharmaceutical facility
• Ensure project complies with relevant industry regulations, such as Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) & relevant safety standards
• Co-ordinate contractor personnel, ensuring relevant information is supplied to architectural/engineering designers
• Communicate with stakeholders both inside and outside the company to scope works and maintain clarity
• Participate in project design, through to commissioning and operation
• Oversee activities of Project Engineers, Construction Manager & Site Superintendent

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in CAPEX/Oil & Gas/Energy Infrastructure Projects
• Degree in civil engineering/comparable qualification
• Possess a strong blend of technical, communication and engineering skills
• Project Management certifications such as as PMP or PRINCE2 are also desirable
