Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Design Engineers, Leads, Tier 3 teams, Project Managers, Customers, and Field Technicians.
  • Implement Network Elements (NEs) based on guidelines provided by the Design Engineer.
  • Verify implementations align with the Implementation Design Document and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Migrate existing infrastructure to SD-WAN, including multi-OEM SD-WAN migrations.
  • Perform Software (OS) Upgrades and Hardware Refreshes (LAN/WAN/WLAN).
  • Handle LAN and WAN activations for various circuits (MPLS, Internet, LTE, Broadband).
  • Work with multi-OEM SD-WAN technologies (Viptela, Versa, Meraki, Silver Peak, Palo Alto).
  • Support multi-OEM hardware interfaces (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, ADTRAN, Versa, Viptela).
  • Configure Firewalls across multiple OEMs (Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.).
  • Make minor template changes post-consultation with the Design Engineer.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineers for major design changes in the Implementation Document.
  • Handle Routing, Switching, and Wireless deployments and activations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network, hardware, and software issues.
  • Perform speed and security tests on installed networks.
  • Ensure protection of customer proprietary network information and project assets.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 9-10 years of experience as a Network Engineer.
  • Hands-on experience with Meraki devices (Router, Switch, Access Point) and Meraki Dashboard is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-OEM SD-WAN technologies (Viptela, Versa, Silver Peak, Palo Alto, Meraki) is preferred.
  • Experience with multi-OEM hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba) is an advantage.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, SD-WAN, Wireless are highly desirable.
  • Expertise in Routing and Switching with knowledge of protocols: IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, Wireless, QoS, VRFs, STP.
  • Strong understanding of interface configurations, WAN link terminations, and hardware/software upgrades.
  • Excellent knowledge of the OSI/TCP-IP model.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
