The first Digital Development team in the history of Moomin Characters is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join the team. What your day-to-day will look like:

• Build enchanting, interactive experiences that evoke the same feelings as the Moomin stories and delight fans worldwide. 
• Be part of a 3-person team and join our Creative Technologist and UX Designer to imagine, design, refine, and create a new vision for how fans could experience the Moomin stories.
• Work on new, exciting, cutting-edge creative concepts and co-create the setup and technical implementation in a green field project. 
• Support adjacent technical needs and consult on Moomin Characters’ other technical projects.

We are looking for:

• Action bias and passion for working on-site as part of a small, ambitious, and cooperative team owning the vision and implementation for Moomin’s new digital approach.
• Tendency to take ownership of the work and strive for quality.
• Interest in working with an art-based brand in a non-technical organization. Ability to communicate with non-technical people, humanists, and business experts.
• Senior-level hands-on experience with modern web technologies, both in planning and implementation. You need to be able to take ownership of the overall service architecture and related decisions and be fluent with backend and frontend technologies like Node.js, React, TypeScript, and Postgres. 
• Fluent English.
• Experience with B2C and consumer experiences will be preferred.

Please note that this is an on-site position based in our Helsinki office. We cannot offer remote or hybrid work, relocation, or work visa sponsorship. Only candidates living in Finland will be considered. We are not interested in hiring freelancers or consultants for this position.
