Creative Technologist (front-end heavy developer)

We are building the first tech team in the history of Moomin Characters, and we would love for you to join us. If you are a front-end heavy creative technologist looking for a kind and relaxed work environment, have extensive experience with modern web technologies, and love the Moomins, we would love to hear from you. 

You will be able to: 

• Build new digital experiences for Moomin.com that evoke the same feelings as the Moomin stories. 
• Join our newly appointed Lead Engineer and soon-to-be-hired UX designer to imagine, design, refine, and create a new vision for how fans could experience the Moomin stories online.
• Co-create the setup, ways of working, and technical implementation (this is a green field project). 
• Support adjacent technical needs and consult on Moomin Characters’ other technical projects.

We are looking for:

• A desire to work as a team on-site and the ability to communicate with non-technical people, humanists, and business experts.
• Passion for building beautiful web-based experiences that will delight Moomin fans worldwide.
• Interest in working with an art-based brand in a non-technical organization.
• Senior-level hands-on experience with modern web technologies (front-end heavy) with an emphasis on experimental creative aspects. You should also have a basic understanding of the backend side.
• Fluent English.
