Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and unit-test embedded software components for aerospace systems
- Perform integration of hardware and software modules, including low-level troubleshooting
- Support system testing and automated software verification on embedded platforms
- Analyze and document test data and communicate results to engineering teams
- Assist in technical presentations and contribute to solution development
- Collaborate with design engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and confidentiality standards at all times
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in C, C++, and experience with Python for scripting and tooling
- Hands-on experience with embedded Linux and system-level programming
- Solid understanding of digital electronics and hardware-software interfaces
- Strong troubleshooting skills in embedded environments (hardware and software)
- Effective communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD or equivalent security clearance
Preferred:
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability embedded systems
- Familiarity with automated test frameworks and data acquisition tools
- Prior exposure to EOIR or satellite imaging systems is a plus
