This is within a global financial company known for embracing disruptive technologies and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in trading and tech. They move fast, think big, and invest heavily in their people and platforms.

Working within a global company (1,000+ staff) - Sydney CBD office.

So, what will you actually be doing? Think of it as a mix of analysis and engineering — protecting the organisation from threats and strengthening its overall security posture.

Things like:

• Helping to mature the Security Operations function
• Monitoring alerts, responding to threats, and doing some proactive threat hunting
• Improving security controls where needed
• Using automation and orchestration to eliminate repetitive tasks
• Developing Incident Response Playbooks
• Getting hands-on with tech deployments

You don’t need to be the “finished article”. This is a place to deepen your technical skill set, with access to an experienced team and a strong culture of learning and internal growth.

The current tech stack:

• EDR: CrowdStrike
• SIEM: Chronicle
• Firewalls: Palo Alto
