IT Search has partnered with a growing IoT company based in St. Gallen that’s developing smart, connected solutions used in critical real-world applications. This is a small, highly skilled engineering team where each member plays a central role in product development. If you’re looking for a hands-on role with real technical ownership - this is a great fit.

You’ll contribute across the full embedded software lifecycle, from concept through to deployment. The work is varied and fast-paced, covering low-level development for ARM-based systems, wireless communication protocols, and system integration for connected devices.

Key skills and experience:

• Strong C/C++ development for embedded systems (bare-metal, RTOS, or Embedded Linux)
• Solid understanding of microcontroller architectures (preferably ARM Cortex-M)
• Familiarity with wireless protocols such as BLE, LoRa, or NB-IoT
• Experience working with sensors, peripherals, and debugging tools (JTAG, oscilloscopes, etc.)
• An appreciation for clean code, reliability, and testing in resource-constrained environments
• Bonus: Experience with Python for scripting or automated testing

You'll enjoy a primarily on-site working setup due to the hands-on nature of the role, with some remote working possible where feasible. The team operates with a flat structure, giving you the chance to work on technically challenging projects without unnecessary bureaucracy. Salary range is CHF 110–130k, depending on experience.
