Artificial Intelligence Engineer

A leading name within pharmaceuticals requires a Lead AI Engineer to join their expanding regional team. The successful candidate will help build a distributed AI team aimed at transforming enterprise processes. Ideal candidates have overseen the launch of AI-driven tools involving structured/unstructured data, graph/vector databases, and intuitive interfaces. Familiarity with agent-based AI, robust operational pipelines, and ethical AI governance is key.

Responsibilities:

Define and lead the roadmap for generative AI capabilities aligned with strategic goals.

Recruit and mentor global AI talent and manage budgets and delivery teams.

Stay current on GenAI trends and research, guide architecture decisions, and implementation.

Partner with business and technical teams to define impactful use cases.

Champion modern engineering workflows (DevOps/LLMOps) and scalable solutions.

Ideal Candidate:

Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in STEM or related field.

Proven experience in leading AI teams and projects.

Cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and related AI services.

Deep knowledge of LLM libraries (e.g., LangChain, Semantic Kernel, Autogen).

Strong engineering skills, API/backend/frontend experience.

Familiarity with CI/CD, observability tools, and AI model monitoring.
