About the Role

We are looking for a Back-End Developer to strengthen our team. You will contribute to the development and evolution of backend applications and services used by a mix of internal and external stakeholders.

This role is suited for a developer with solid backend development foundations who is comfortable building robust backend solutions with .NET and C#, working in cloud-based environments, and applying modern development practices in a pragmatic, delivery-focused context.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, testing, deployment, and evolution of backend solutions across different technology environments
• Design and implement application logic, integrations, and data models
• Contribute to engineering best practices in areas such as CI/CD, containerization, maintainability, and code quality
• Use AI tools to support software development activities such as coding, refactoring, testing, and documentation
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and stakeholder teams to deliver valuable increments
• Work in an Agile/Scrum context with a strong focus on quality, pragmatism, and delivery

Qualifications & Experience

Professional Experience

• Experience in backend software development within a product, delivery, or project-based environment
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

Technical Requirements

• Backend: .NET, C#, backend application development, object-oriented programming
• APIs & Security: REST APIs, authentication and authorization concepts
• Cloud & Delivery: Experience with at least one major cloud platform such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, plus CI/CD, Docker, and container-based delivery practices
• Data: Relational DBs (SQL Server/PostgreSQL or similar), SQL, data modeling fundamentals
• Testing: Unit testing, integration testing, debugging, code quality practices
• Tooling: Git, build and deployment tooling
• AI-assisted development: Experience using AI tools for software development, including support for coding, testing, documentation, and productivity improvement
• Ways of working: Agile/Scrum

Soft Skills

• Professional proficiency in English, French and Dutch
• Excellent communication and active listening skills
• Pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset
• Comfortable collaborating across teams and stakeholders
