Junior Data Governance / Data Analyst (English) - Application Deadline: 28-04-2025

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Remote Work Possibility: Hybrid, 2/3 days per week in the office

Type of Contract: Permanent Contract preferably

Mandatory Languages: English (C2 or Native)

Eligibility: Candidates must possess European nationality or a valid work permit for Belgium.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Governance / Data Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career to grow within the data field, working on meaningful projects in a dynamic, international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support data governance initiatives, including data quality monitoring, metadata management, and data cataloging.
• Assist in the implementation of data policies and standards across the organization.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure data is accurate, consistent, and properly documented.
• Perform data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
• Help identify data-related issues and contribute to resolution efforts.
• Maintain and update documentation for data governance processes and data lineage.
  
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, data governance, or related roles.
• Solid understanding of data management principles (data quality, metadata, governance, etc.).
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with tools such as SQL, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Talend).
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
