Product Design Internship (Mobile, Unpaid)

Location: Berlin, Germany (Remote possible)

Start Date: Mid to End of May

Duration: 3+ months (Flexible, full-time preferred)

We’re looking for visionaries with a builder’s mindset—the ones who sketch interfaces on paper napkins, who think in flows and animations, who’ve taught themselves Figma and Flutter just to bring their ideas to life.

The ones who ace their design courses but stay up late debugging UI bugs anyway.

At Epapa, we’re not building another edtech platform. We’re creating an experience where humanoid educators—powered by AI, speech, and story—bring math and science to life for every child.

You won’t be handed mockups. You’ll shape the experience—directly with the founder and dev team. You’ll:

• Redesign our onboarding and home screen flows to be intuitive, beautiful, and fun for kids and teens
• Create wireframes and pixel-perfect mobile UI layouts in Figma
• Prototype smart microinteractions and animations that spark delight

• Run user tests and transform feedback into actionable UI decisions
• Explore gamified learning mechanics like rewards, progress dashboards, and daily streaks
• Collaborate closely with developers—because you speak their language

• Help us craft the voice and personality of our AI tutor through visual storytelling
• Build rapid prototypes that push boundaries and challenge assumptions
• Influence design systems, not just individual screens

• Studying Interaction Design, Mobile App Design, Industrial Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or carving your own hybrid path
• You’ve built clickable prototypes and love using tools like Figma, Principle, ProtoPie, or Framer
• You understand dev realities: CSS constraints, React Native quirks, performance limits
• You’re deeply curious, self-taught in some areas, and allergic to mediocrity
• Bonus: You’ve played with Lottie animations, game design, or even coded your own mini app

• Your designs will go live in a real app used by real students
• You’ll work in a high-trust environment where your ideas matter
• You’ll learn how to build and ship in a lean, fast-moving team
• You’ll gain experience at the intersection of education, AI, and emotional design
