Early-stage researcher position in particle physics (Belle II experiment) to work on a hot topic of lepton anomalies. We are looking for candidates to join our research efforts in the framework of FAIME, https://faime.ijs.si/, an ERC Advanced Grant project. The project aims to study a hot topic in particle physics, lepton flavor anomalies, in the Belle II experiment at the KEK Laboratory in Tsukuba, Japan.


Candidates must hold a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Physics by the start of employment; the deadline for application is June 1, 2025. The successful candidate will be based at the Josef Stefan Instituite, Ljubljana, SIovenia, and will make regular trips to the KEK lab in Japan. The position is available on October 1, 2025, but a later start is possible.
