Software Support Engineer - Global Tech

We’re hiring a contractor (PAYE) who can own the problem end-to-end — frontend bugs, backend issues, API quirks, slow queries — and build the internal tools that stop them happening again.

The Offer:

• Annual Salary up to €85,000 doe
• 11-month PAYE Contract via Principle HR - paid on a weekly basis
• Hybrid work model - Dublin - 3 days (collocated product & engineering team) - candidates must be in Ireland with an appropriate work permit.
• 40 hours/week, no overtime, no weekend shifts

Your toolbox should include:

• Frontend: JavaScript, React, Angular, UI-focused debugging & builds
• Backend: PHP, Python, complex data/API logic
• Database: Strong SQL, optimisation & troubleshooting
• Experience building internal tooling, automation platforms is a big plus
• You’ve worked in large matrixed environments — tech, telco, consulting, banking — and you know how to navigate cross-team complexity

What you’ll be doing:

• Fix live product issues across UI, backend and APIs
• Build internal ops tools that reduce manual work
• Own technical problem-solving from top to bottom
• Collaborate with engineers across EMEA, US, and APAC
