Job Title: Business Analyst – Insurance / Financial Services

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Business Analyst with proven experience in the insurance or financial services sector to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering large-scale digital transformation programmes, working closely with stakeholders to define business needs, shape solutions, and ensure successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to elicit, document, and validate business requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional specifications for digital solutions.
- Support the end-to-end delivery of digital initiatives, from discovery and design through to implementation and post-launch support.
- Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and impact assessments to support change initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings to gather insights and drive consensus.
- Work with UX/UI teams to ensure user-centric design and with developers to ensure technical feasibility.
- Support testing and quality assurance by defining acceptance criteria and participating in UAT.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance standards relevant to the insurance or financial services industry.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis practices and tools.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in insurance or financial services.
- Demonstrated experience working on large-scale digital transformation programmes (e.g., customer portals, mobile apps, policy admin systems, claims automation).
- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies; experience working in hybrid environments is a plus.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Balsamiq, Lucidchart).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, Solvency II, MiFID).
- Knowledge of insurance products, claims, underwriting, or policy administration systems.
- Familiarity with data analysis, reporting tools, or API integrations.
- Business Analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, BCS, PMI-PBA) is a plus.
Working Conditions:
