I'm partnered with an innovative healthcare startup revolutionizing vision care through the world’s first CE-certified online eye exam. My client provides tele-health solutions that make eye testing accessible from anywhere — supporting hospitals, consumers, and employers alike. As they continue to expand globally, they are seeking a Lead Full-stack Engineer to help drive technical product development and lead a growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the development team, ensuring best practices and coding standards are met.
• Own technical architecture and ensure the development of scalable, high-quality web applications.
• Deploy and maintain applications in AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Oversee external API integrations and handle troubleshooting in collaboration with Customer Service and Clinical teams.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, medical device, and software development standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (clinical, customer service, marketing, and sales) to drive product success.

• Frontend: Vue.js, JavaScript
• Backend: Laravel (PHP), Python
• Infrastructure: AWS
• Database: SQL, ORM

About You:

• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with 3+ years in a leadership position.
• Proven experience in full-stack development in a regulated or compliance-driven environment.
• Strong communicator, able to bridge technical and non-technical teams (management, medical experts, developers).
• Solid knowledge of software design patterns, OOP, and cybersecurity practices.
• Comfortable writing and reviewing complex technical documentation in English.
