Senior Software Engineer

Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer I

Location: Hybrid (Buenos Aires, Argentina, 2-3 days onsite a week)

Duration: 6-12 months with possible extension or FTE conversion

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer I with a focus on backend development to join our Ad Stack team. You will play a pivotal role in designing and developing features for various components of TV Ad Stack. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical innovation and deliver robust solutions that meet our business needs.

Responsibilities:

● Design, develop and deploy scalable backend systems and maintain them.

● Collaborate with the Data Science team to integrate AI/ML solutions.

● Identify and address performance bottlenecks. Optimize system performance,scalability, and reliability.

● Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

● Conduct code reviews, and provide constructive feedback to ensure high code quality and adherence to best practices.

● Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation.

Requirements:

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering, or a related field.

● 3+ years of experience in backend software development, with a strong focus on building and maintaining scalable systems.

● Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).

● Proficiency in writing and maintaining unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.

● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

● Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred:

● Proficiency in Go programming language.

● Familiarity with Kafka, Docker, CI/CD and Kubernetes.
