IT Projects Coordinator
Governance Planning
Information & Communication Technology Dept.
To coordinate, monitor, and track projects, governance-related activities for all ICT projects and internal service enhancements.
This includes overseeing audits, utilizing project management tools, and coordinating and reporting activities across all ICT teams
Job Description/ Job Responsibilities
• Follow up on all project-related activities, ensuring timely updates and progress.
Collaborate with ICT sections and teams to coordinate status reporting, KPIs, audits and other relevant reports.
• Utilize project management tools to monitor and track ongoing projects. Facilitate project status meetings, ensuring clear communication of progress and issues.
• Assist in reviewing project deliverables and coordinate with teams to ensure completion of necessary tasks and other project-related activities. Support the governance planning team in achieving its objectives by providing guidance on project management activities across all ICT staff and project teams.
Prepare and maintain necessary project documentation.
Communicate with ICT, vendors and other departments, coordinating follow- ups, meetings, and project-related activities.
Engage with vendors to ensure alignment with project management processes
and adherence to ICT project management policies and frameworks.
Follow up with all stakeholders to track and publish ICT-related announcements.
Identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement in systems, processes, and practices.
Attend departmental meetings, training sessions, and events as instructed by the section lead or ICT Manager.
• Adhere to all relevant departmental policies, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and control in project management activities.
Ensure strict adherence to company and departmental confidentiality policies to protect the privacy and security of information.
Assist in preparing accurate departmental reports in line with company policies and standards.
Compile and submit comprehensive project status reports to the direct
manager.
Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures to guarantee employee safety, product/service quality, and environmental standards.
Perform other duties or assignments as directed.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering / computer science or relevant IT field
Minimum Experience:
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in IT planning and control positions in similar organizations
Certifications:
PMP or Prince2 desirable
Job Specific Skills:
Knowledge of accounting principles
Excellent project management and control skills.
Project Management Professional certification is advantage
Good knowledge in Windows applications such as (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, ERP system, Email, etc.)
Good knowledge about latest Technologies
Analytical mindset
Good communication, presentation, analytical & interpretation skills Organized.
