Price Risk Data Analyst- W2 Contract Role:

On behalf of our Financial client, Procom is searching for a Price Risk Data Analyst for a 6-months contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s New York office.

Price Risk Data Analyst - Job Description:

The role will be part of a core central data analytics project delivery team, charged with ensuring the timely execution of deliverables across multiple workstreams. The candidate will provide subject matter expertise in business analytics techniques and delivery to develop functional and sustainable solutions.

Price Risk Data Analyst - Responsibilities:

• Support the Metrics and Data Controls Lead in developing a platform for insights into data quality issues

• Write data and feature specifications and collaborate with Technology partners

• Compile analysis of trends against Data Quality Indicators for senior management decision-making

• Plan and coordinate UAT activities for new analytics capabilities

• Provide technical data support for the Price Risk Metrics and Control Analytics initiative

• Identify risks and issues, and resolve or escalate them promptly

• Drive change across a global organization and handle complex work environments

Price Risk Data Analyst - Mandatory Skills:

• Excellent attention to detail in data analysis and documentation

• Understanding of data quality themes in large technology environments

• Initiative to identify opportunities for data insight improvement

• Proficiency in Python/Jupyter notebooks and SQL for data analysis

• Good Tableau skills for data visualization

• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint

• Problem-solving and analytical skills

Price Risk Data Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Understanding of Control points in Price Risk Front Office valuation processes

• Strong business and data analysis skills

• Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

• Exposure to Python data science libraries like SciKit-Learn

• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement

This is a 6-month contract position.
