Frontend Developer

We are rewriting a large-scale modernization of our main product, web interface, focusing on delivering a streamlined, maintainable, and feature-rich experience for both desktop and mobile users. The codebase leverages modern JavaScript, Node.js, React, Apollo GraphQL, Redux, MobX, and related tooling, with a strong emphasis on code quality, CI/CD automation, and user experience.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize full-stack features using JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, React, and Apollo GraphQL.

Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend engineers to deliver seamless, highly branded user experiences.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code (unit tests with Jest, linting, etc.).

Apply Aspect Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, and Component Driven Architecture on a daily basis to ensure high code quality and maintainability.

Implement and maintain strong, standards-compliant HTML and CSS for custom product branding, using CSS-next via PostCSS.

Work with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Docker, Kaniko, ArgoCD) to ensure robust build, test, and deployment processes.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, staging, and production environments.

Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

Must-Have:

3+ years of experience with JavaScript/ECMAScript and Node.js in production environments.

Strong proficiency with React (including JSX), Redux, MobX, and Apollo GraphQL.

Deep understanding of Aspect Oriented Programming, Event Driven Architecture, SOLID principles, and Component Driven Architecture.

Advanced skills in HTML and CSS, with experience in custom product branding and responsive design using CSS-next (PostCSS).

Experience with Node.js-based build tools and package managers (npm, nvm).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, especially GitLab CI and Docker-based workflows.

Solid understanding of version control (Git) and collaborative workflows (merge requests, code reviews).

Experience working with environment configuration and secrets management (.env files, etc).

Good understanding of Cookie storage, CORS, and REST API integration.

Comfortable working in a Linux/macOS development environment.

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with ArgoCD and cloud deployment strategies.

Familiarity with legacy-to-modernization migration projects.

Prior exposure to large-scale, high-traffic web applications.

Experience with modern CSS tooling.

Knowledge of secure coding practices and compliance in web applications.

Ability to read and understand complex build scripts and deployment YAMLs.
