🔎 About the Role

The Business Grants Hub Data Section is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead and manage data projects that support grant administration and drive evidence-based decision-making.

You’ll join a collaborative, high-performing team and work closely with stakeholders across the department to translate data into insights through advanced reporting tools, including Power BI, SQL, and PowerQuery M.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Understand stakeholder needs and translate them into actionable data solutions.
• Design and build advanced Excel and Power BI reporting products.
• Manage ad hoc data/reporting requests across multiple datasets.
• Write, optimize, and maintain SQL scripts for data extraction and transformation.
• Maintain Power BI dashboards, including DAX, M queries, data models, and visuals.
• Uphold data quality, security, and governance in all outputs.

💡 Ideal Candidate

• High proficiency in SQL, DAX, and PowerQuery M; strong experience with relational SQL databases.
• Expert in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Clear and confident communicator, capable of conveying technical info to non-technical audiences.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.
• Proactive team player with a knack for managing tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
• Self-starter with a passion for learning new technologies and solving complex data problems.
