About The Role

We are seeking a iOS Developer to join our Sports team, contributing to the development and enhancement of our iOS Sports Native App alongside our industry-leading website. As part of the Site Services Trading and Tools department, you’ll work in a collaborative and technically demanding environment focused on delivering exceptional app performance and user interactivity.

This role involves working with a large Swift codebase and our custom in-house framework to build new features, resolve issues, and optimise performance. You will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle—from design and development to testing and App Store release.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex features within the iOS platform using Swift
• Improve app performance and quality through bug fixing, testing, and optimisation
• Collaborate with your team leader and development team throughout the project lifecycle
• Contribute to tool development and automation initiatives
• Implement unit testing to uphold software quality standards
• Support live systems and resolve technical issues as needed
• Participate in continuous improvement of codebases and internal processes
  
  

Preferred Skills And Experience

• 2.1 Honours degree or higher in Computer Science or a related IT discipline
• Passionate and enthusiastic about working in a challenging technical environment
• Experience in mobile development with Swift, Kotlin, or Java
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork capabilities
• A proactive attitude with a desire to contribute ideas and improvements
• Ability to investigate and resolve technical issues independently
