UI/UX Designer (Insurance Products)

We are looking for an experienced UI/UX designer with prior projects involving Insurance products on web and mobile applications.

Main Responsibilities

Digital Experiences

• Design and optimise intuitive digital journeys for customers purchasing, renewing, or managing general insurance products (e.g., motor, home, travel).
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that align with brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of user experience across digital touchpoints.
• Understand our audiences and leverage analytics and behavioral data to identify pain points and design data-driven improvements in quote, bind, claim, and self-service experiences.
• Champion user-centric design thinking within Agile development cycles to continuously evolve digital insurance platforms.

Design Excellence

• Be the subject matter expert for all UI/UX design.
• Document design rationale and decisions clearly, creating traceable and thoughtful design processes aligned with business and user needs.
• Keep up with digital trends and best practices in both UI/UX and the insurance domain to deliver competitive and modern experiences.
• Push for design innovation in traditionally complex insurance processes - transforming forms, dashboards, and workflows into seamless and delightful experiences.
• Define and uphold design standards and systems to ensure consistency and scalability across quote, bind, claim, and self-service experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field with design cerifications.
• Proven experience in UI/UX design, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Figma, Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop - must be proficient in these tools
• Fullstory - Beneficial but not compulsory
• Demonstrated experience in UI/UX optimisation and design thinking.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate user research into design application.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
