Principal Software Engineer

*2 roles across Sydney and Melbourne, please read to the bottom for the Melbourne based position.

Principal Software Engineer | Sydney | $200,000 + super + bonus

• Well known Australian retail brand
• Hybrid 3 days on site

Technology:

• TypeScript and Node.js BE with Express or Nest.js and React or Next.js FE
• Legacy PHP modernisation and maintenance
• MySQl and NoSQL + AWS Cloud

You should:

• Have prior experience in a Principal level role
• Be able to own the architecture decisions and work across various squads as as SME
• Manage stakeholders at a high level
• This role is purely technical and not suited to someone who wants to go down the managerial route

Start-Up Software Engineer | Melbourne | $130,000 + super + ESOP

• Looking for Founding Engineers or people with early stage experience
• Hybrid 3 days on site

Technology:

• Node, TypeScript Back End
• Flutter Mobile Front End
• GCP , Firebase

You should:

• Have experience working in early stage start ups, ideally sub 5 in the Engineering team
• Have a broad range of experience including front end, back end, cloud and mobile
