We are currently recruiting for an interesting Chief Technology Officer role working for a major client based in Brussels, Belgium:

Duration: 3 months + extensions

Location: Brussels (Hybrid Working- 2 days onsite per week)

Pay rate: Negotiable

See Job Role:

• The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is responsible for the overall technology vision and strategic direction of technology within the client.
• The CTO oversees all technology initiatives, ensures the alignment of technology resources with organizational goals, and drives innovation in information and communications technology. He is also in charge of monitoring the digital transformation.
• A system of co-creation should be set up with the various partners of the client,

Main missions:

1. Technology Strategy:

o Develops and implements the short-, medium- and long-term technology strategy;

o Collaborates with stakeholders to align technology initiatives with the organization's strategic objectives;

o Develops a framework and procedures that structurally allow for co-creation between different entities;

o Acts as the point of contact for internal and external partners in the context of the IT strategy, and facilitates relations within this framework

2. Infrastructure Management:

o Oversees the management and maintenance of technological infrastructure;

o Ensures scalability, security and reliability of ICT systems

4. Cybersecurity:

o Develops and implements robust cybersecurity policies;

o Monitors potential threats and vulnerabilities and responds quickly to security incidents

5. Technology Project Management:

o Preparation and monitoring of IT priorities via portfolio management (PMO);

o Oversees new major ICT projects, identifies deviations from defined priorities and objectives and implements corrective actions as required;

o Implements agile methodologies and effective project management practices
