Job Description:

Business Analysts manage and interpret data to help drive sound business decisions in their respective functional area.

• Performs effective project planning to meet timelines and budgets.
• Manages project(s) per the plan; optimizes schedule and budget conformance.
• Reviews delivered reports for data accuracy.
• Effectively manages project issues and risks.
• Gathers and communicates project status clearly and regularly.
• Proposes resolutions for quality issues of limited scope to more senior-level analysts/supervisor and escalates complex quality issues to supervisor or senior staff for resolution.
• Understands more broadly how systems relationships and data flow impact data quality.
• Working directly with business stakeholders, designs a wide variety of moderately complex reports and some complex reports using data from one or multiple systems to specifications.
• Delivers reports in formats to aid stakeholders outside the functional area (PowerPoint, PDF, etc.).
• Uses business acumen to look beyond the data to generate recommendations for a wide variety of moderately complex problems to review directly with business stakeholders.
