Position - Graphic Designer

Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer with experience working on infrastructure projects in Qatar. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for producing high-quality visual content, including digital and print materials, presentations, infographics, and branding assets. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of design principles, experience with clients branding guidelines, and the ability to communicate complex information through engaging visuals.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Branding:

Create visually compelling designs in line with Clients branding guidelines and project requirements.

Develop and maintain consistency across all design outputs, including logos, brochures, banners, presentations, and social media assets.

Ensure all design materials align with infrastructure industry standards and are approved by the necessary stakeholders.

Project-Specific Visuals:

Design infographics, maps, diagrams, and other visual elements required for project documentation, reports, and presentations.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other departments to translate technical information into visually engaging materials.

Prepare design layouts for internal and external communications, such as newsletters, press releases, and project updates.

Digital Design:

Design web graphics, UI elements, and promotional materials for online platforms related to infrastructure projects.

Create animations, interactive graphics, or presentations to enhance the online presence and communication of infrastructure projects.

Optimize images and other design elements for various digital platforms, ensuring responsiveness and high quality.

Print and Production Design:

Design print materials such as brochures, posters, banners, and signage used in infrastructure projects.

Liaise with print vendors to ensure high-quality production and correct specifications for print materials.

Prepare files for printing and ensure they meet clients quality and format standards.

Content Management:

Manage a library of all design assets and resources used for infrastructure projects.

Organize and archive completed projects, ensuring easy access for future reference.

Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices related to both print and digital media.

Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams, such as marketing, communications, and project management, to meet design requirements and deadlines.

Collaborate with third-party agencies or consultants when necessary to create or refine design outputs for infrastructure projects.

Participate in meetings and provide creative input for project visual requirements.

Compliance and Quality Control:

Ensure that all designs meet clients compliance standards, including accessibility, cultural sensitivity, and language requirements (Arabic and English).

Review and proof designs for accuracy, consistency, and compliance before submission or production.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Graphic Designer, with at least 2 years working on infrastructure projects or within the construction/infrastructure industry in Qatar.

Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design work, including work for large infrastructure projects or government entities.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), CorelDRAW, and other relevant tools.

Knowledge of web design principles, including HTML/CSS, is an advantage.

Experience working with both print and digital design formats.
