Role Summary
We are looking for a Reporting and Analytics Specialist who will be responsible for delivering comprehensive data analysis and reporting services to support performance monitoring and decision-making within Student Management Services. The role plays a key function in establishing robust reporting frameworks, developing performance dashboards, and generating insights from student systems and service delivery data to drive operational improvements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Pay Rate: $800 - 900 + Super per day (based on experience)
Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Work model: Hybrid

Responsibilities
- Analyse reporting needs across corporate, regulatory, and operational areas and develop a robust framework for periodic and ad hoc reporting.
- Produce custom and routine reports using various data presentation tools to support decision-making at all organisational levels.
- Establish and maintain operational datasets, benchmarks, and service targets to support continuous performance evaluation and improvement.
- Collaborate with governance, finance, procurement, strategy, and policy teams to ensure alignment with broader reporting and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to optimise data capture, identify trends, and monitor performance of student management services.
- Provide insights into performance metrics, project outcomes, business cases, and customer service levels through data analysis.
- Develop methodologies to evaluate system performance and resource utilisation.
- Implement benefit realisation tracking mechanisms across programs and improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and analyse risk and issue management logs, ensuring timely updates and actionable reporting.
- Contribute to a culture of safety, inclusiveness, and customer-first service in alignment with organisational values.
Skills & Experience
- Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business Analytics, Information Systems).
- Proven experience in analytics and reporting within facilities, logistics, or student services environments.
- Strong capability in delivering insights through multiple data tools, visualisation platforms, and reporting formats.
- Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting and extracting insights from financial systems and SAP.
- Experience managing multiple data sources (manual and digital) to produce consistent, accurate, and valuable reporting.
- Ability to present complex technical analysis to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise format.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholder groups.
- Familiarity with performance frameworks, benchmarking methodologies, and compliance reporting standards.
- High level of personal motivation, integrity, and commitment to professional development.
- Proficient in NSW Government capability framework at the Adept level across core areas such as Planning, Problem Solving, Technology, and Customer Service.
